Editra A Developer's Text Editor

Intro:

FtpEdit is an integrated Ftp Client program for Editra that allows editing of files on remote sites via ftp. This short guide will explain each part of the plugin and its features. To use FtpEdit it must first have been enabled in the Plugin Manager, after enabling it and restarting Editra a Launch window can be opened by going to View=>Shelf=>FtpEdit.

1: Basic Overview

The above screenshot shows the main FtpEdit interface.

2: Configuration

This screen shot shows the FtpEdit Configuration dialog. This is used to configure what sites and login information are saved.

3: Features

The FtpEdit plugin has the following features as of Version 0.1

• Edit files on remote sites via ftp
• Rename files on remote sites
• Delete files on remote sites
• Add new files / folders to remote sites
• Save configurations for any number of sites
